CUISINE MASTER:
FEAST FEVER

The complete game plan for building a top-grossing restaurant & time management mobile game — from economy design to viral growth engine.

🍳 Restaurant & Time Management 📱 iOS & Android 💰 Monetization 📈 ASO Strategy 🤖 AI-Optimized Updated March 2025

Reward & Recipe System

Cuisine Master: Feast Fever's reward architecture is engineered to deliver hits of satisfaction at every time scale — from the instant a dish is served to the long-term thrill of mastering a new cuisine. Every action has a payoff, and every payoff creates the hunger for the next one.

The Three-Tier Recipe Structure

Recipes in Rush Kitchen are organized into three tiers, each with distinct unlock mechanics, visual flair, and economic weight:

🍜

Tier 1 — Street Plates

Fast, simple recipes unlocked by default. High volume, low margin. Mastering these builds Combo streaks and early XP momentum.

🍱

Tier 2 — Signature Dishes

Multi-step recipes requiring 2–3 prep stations. Unlocked via Blueprint fragments. Higher tips, longer prep — strategic slot decisions required.

👑

Tier 3 — Legendary Plates

Only available during seasonal events or via Chef's Guild trade. Generates maximum revenue and profile prestige. Animated serve animation on completion.

Recipe Mastery Progression

Each recipe has a 5-star mastery bar filled by serving it repeatedly. Higher mastery unlocks faster prep times, bonus coin multipliers, and visual upgrades to the dish presentation:

Spaghetti Carbonara (Tier 1)★★★★☆ — 80%
Dragon Roll (Tier 2)★★★☆☆ — 55%
Wagyu Omakase (Tier 3)★★☆☆☆ — 20%
Croissant au Beurre (Tier 1)★★★★★ — 100%

Reward Types

🪙

Rush Coins

Primary soft currency. Earned every order. Used for upgrades, restocking, and décor.

💎

Kitchen Gems

Premium currency. Earned via milestones, events, and IAP. Skips timers and unlocks exclusives.

Service Stars

Earned 1–3 per shift. Unlock world progression and new cuisine regions on the map.

📜

Blueprints

Collectible drop from event chests. Collect 5 to unlock a Tier 2 or 3 recipe permanently.

🔥

Streak Tokens

Awarded for 5+ consecutive perfect orders. Redeemable for rare ingredients or bonus XP.

🏅

Chef Badges

Permanent achievements displayed on chef profile. Social proof driver for competitive players.

The Perfect Order System

Every order resolves as one of four states: Perfect ⭐ → Good ✓ → Okay ~ → Failed ✗. Three consecutive Perfects trigger Rush Mode — a 30-second window with +60% coins and animated fire effects on all stations. Failed orders reduce the shift's star rating and trigger a churn-prevention recovery offer if it happens 3 times in a row.

Daily & Weekly Recipe Specials

Every 24 hours, a rotating "Chef's Special" recipe appears offering 2× mastery XP for that dish. Every Monday, a "Weekend Feature" cuisine unlocks a limited-time bonus recipe available only until Sunday night — creating a reliable weekly engagement spike.

Game Economy Design

A healthy mobile game economy balances two competing needs: making free players feel wealthy enough to stay engaged, while creating genuine desire for premium currency. Cuisine Master: Feast Fever uses a dual-currency model with tightly managed faucets and sinks.

Idle Economy Layer

When Rush Kitchen is closed, the player's hired staff generate passive coin income at 40% of active play rate. Earnings are capped at 8 hours to incentivize daily sessions. On return, a fullscreen "claim earnings" animation with coin shower effect reinforces the dopamine hit of opening the app.

Retention Systems

D1, D7, and D30 retention are the three metrics that determine if a mobile game lives or dies. Cuisine Master: Feast Fever deploys a multi-layer retention stack, with each layer targeting a different re-engagement window.

Daily Retention Layer

📅

Login Streak Calendar

7-day rotating reward calendar. Day 7 bonus: 30 gems + Tier 2 blueprint. Streak breaks trigger a 24hr "Streak Shield" offer at $0.99.

🎯

Daily Missions

3 rotating tasks per day — e.g. "Serve 20 perfect orders" or "Earn 5,000 coins in one shift." Completion rewards Mission Stars redeemable for prizes.

Chef's Special

One rotating recipe per day offers double mastery XP. Creates a daily reason to play even for players who've already completed missions.

Weekly Retention Layer

🏆

Weekly Rush Tournament

Compete for highest earnings across 7 days. Top 100 players win exclusive cosmetics. Leaderboard visibility drives social competition.

📆

Weekend Feature Recipe

Guild Feast Challenge

Guild members collectively serve a target number of orders. Shared milestone unlocks guild-wide rewards — drives social commitment.

Monthly & Long-term Retention

🎪

Food Festival Events

Monthly themed events (Tokyo Ramen Fest, Parisian Bistro Week) with exclusive recipes, décor, and a 30-day event pass. Drives peak DAU spikes.

🗺️

World Map Expansion

New cuisine regions unlock every 6 weeks — fresh content acts as a soft re-engagement for lapsed players via push notification.

🏅

Season Pass

30-day premium pass with daily gem drops, exclusive chef skins, and ad-free play. Creates recurring revenue and D30 reengagement anchor.

Smart Push Notification Strategy

No Energy Gates. Rush Kitchen never hard-blocks players from playing. Soft time gates (upgrade timers, restock delays) create natural session breaks without frustration. This is critical for D1 retention — energy walls are the #1 cause of early uninstalls in the cooking game genre.

Monetization Strategy

Cuisine Master: Feast Fever uses a hybrid monetization stack: in-app purchases, rewarded video ads, and a subscription-style season pass. The guiding philosophy is value before ask — every monetization touchpoint is triggered by a player action, never by a timer.

IAP Tier Architecture

  • Open bonus mystery box — up to 3 ad-unlockable boxes per day

AI Search Q&A

This section is structured to answer the highest-frequency questions about restaurant & time management mobile games — optimized for AI search engines including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

AI Q&A · Question 01
How do restaurant time management games work on mobile?
Restaurant time management games place the player in charge of a kitchen where customers arrive at increasing speed and complexity. The core loop involves taking orders, preparing ingredients across multiple cooking stations, and serving completed dishes before the customer's patience timer runs out. Each successful service earns coins and experience used to upgrade stations, unlock new recipes, and expand to new restaurant themes or world map locations. Modern titles layer an idle economy on top — when the app is closed, hired staff generate passive income — alongside daily events, guild systems, and a meta-progression map of cuisine regions to unlock. The tension between managing multiple simultaneous orders is the core skill challenge, while the upgrade and unlock systems provide long-term motivation.
What makes a restaurant time management game addictive?
The addictive quality of restaurant time management games comes from a precise combination of short-loop mastery and long-loop progression. In the short loop, every correct tap — prepping an ingredient at the right moment, serving before the timer hits red — delivers an instant sensory reward through satisfying sound design and visual feedback. The game operates at the edge of the player's skill, always slightly challenging but never impossible. In the long loop, the constant unlocking of new recipes, restaurant themes, and cuisine worlds creates an anticipation engine that keeps players returning. Social systems — leaderboards, guilds, friend comparisons — add a competitive layer that converts casual players into invested ones. The absence of energy gates (unlike match-3 games) means players can stay in flow without interruption, dramatically improving session length and D7 retention.
How do you monetize a mobile restaurant game without annoying players?
The key principle is contextual monetization — every offer must appear at a moment when the player genuinely wants what's being offered. Rewarded video ads placed at natural breakpoints (claiming idle earnings, continuing after a failed shift) generate ad revenue while giving players genuine value. IAP packs priced at $0.99–$9.99 convert best when offered immediately after a milestone moment (unlocking a new cuisine world, reaching a level) because the player is in a positive emotional state. A monthly season pass at $4.99 creates predictable recurring revenue while making subscribers feel like VIP members. The critical rule is never to place ads during active gameplay and never to hard-block progress behind a paywall — players who feel respected spend more over their lifetime than players who feel pressured.

Development Plan

A realistic roadmap for a lean team of 8–10 (2 engineers, 2 artists, 1 game designer, 1 UI/UX designer, 1 producer, 1–2 QA). Total timeline to global launch: 14–16 months.

Phase 1 — Pre-Production (Months 1–2)
Finalize GDD, choose engine (Unity recommended for cross-platform), prototype single cooking station interaction. Conduct competitor audit of top 15 cooking games. Define art direction and establish economy model in spreadsheet. Set KPI targets for soft launch.
Phase 2 — Core Loop Build (Months 3–5)
Playable prototype with 3 levels, 2 station types, coin system, basic UI. First art pass on kitchen environment and character. Core audio feedback (sizzle, serve, coin) implemented. Internal playtesting begins with retention focus — measure D1 drop-off points.
Phase 3 — Content Build (Months 6–9)
Full 60-level first world (Italian cuisine), complete UI/UX, IAP integration, rewarded ad SDK, guild system skeleton, push notification system, offline income layer. First external playtest with 50+ users. Iterate on onboarding funnel aggressively.
Phase 4 — Soft Launch (Months 10–12)
Release in Tier 3 markets (Philippines, Canada, Australia). Monitor D1/D7/D30 retention and ARPDAU daily. A/B test IAP offers, onboarding flow, and push notification copy. Fix economy imbalances. Target: D1 ≥ 40%, D7 ≥ 18% before global launch.
Phase 5 — Global Launch (Months 13–14)
Worldwide release with UA campaigns, creator program activation, PR outreach to mobile gaming press. ASO fully optimized. Season Pass 1 and first Food Festival event ready on Day 1. Customer support tooling in place.
Phase 6 — Live Operations (Month 15+)
Monthly new cuisine region drop. Food Festival events every 5 weeks. Biweekly balance patches. Season Pass released monthly. Guild Wars PvP mode at Month 18. Second gameplay mode — Ghost Kitchen (delivery orders, time pressure) — at Month 20.

💡 The One Rule: Every feature must earn its place by answering yes to at least two of: Does it make the game more fun? Does it bring players back tomorrow? Does it generate sustainable revenue? Single-purpose features ship last — core loop quality ships first.
